The Hunchback of Notre Dame
Direction - Ron Schaefer
French Woods Festival 2024 Season
* All costumes for this production were pulled, altered, and/or constructed from materials already present in the French Woods Festival Costume Shop with only two weeks between measurements and dress rehearsal.
The Hunchback of Notre Dame, based off of the novel, is the story of the deformed bell-ringer of the Notre Dame cathedral in 15th century Paris. The design for this show was loosely inspired by 15th century peasant wear and the Romani culture. The gargoyles are costumed in all grey variants of the regular ensemble’s costumes.
